mr. J.P.M. (Joop) van Zijl


Joop studied Dutch Law (1984) and Fiscal Law (1989) at Tilburg University. After having worked at an auditing firm as a legal advisor for five years, now, since 1st October 1989, he works as a self-employed consultant.

In 1999, he was sworn-in as a lawyer. He mainly deals with matters regarding labour law and social insurance law: insurance obligations, differentiation in contributions, excess insurance, verifying correctness of decisions regarding Occupational Disability Insurance (WAO)-benefits and Work an Income according to Labour Capacity (WIA)-benefits of (former) employees, and of Sector classification.

In addition, he acts as a lecturer and a publicist for entrepreneurs and for auditing firms, administration offices and tax consultancies.
